ISU students, staff and faculty have access to select software at no additional charge

Microsoft Office Products

Microsoft Office products are available to enrolled students and current employees through an agreement between Microsoft and Indiana State University.  For information on how to download and install Office Pro Plus ( Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint) on a total of 5 personally owned devices, please click on this link Microsoft Office Pro Plus FAQ Introduction.

Additional Software

Software for coursework, Printing Software and Web Browsers, can be downloaded and installed on a personal machine.

Windows 10 Education is available at no cost to currently enrolled ISU students through Kivuto.

Scope/Constraints

  • Office 365 Pro Plus is available to all enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff for use on up to 5 personally owned devices.
  • Students who withdraw from ISU for any reason before graduation, must remove all ISU provided software from their personal device immediately.
  • Students who graduate from ISU will have their Microsoft  become “read only” 30 days after you leave the University. .
  • Faculty and staff who terminate employment with the University are required to remove all ISU provided software downloaded and installed on a personally owned computer.

In most cases, the download and installation of the software is straightforward and easy to do. However, if you need assistance installing one of these applications, please contact the Technology Support Center at 812-237-2910.
