Introduction
Access to the ISU-OPEN wireless network is available for students, faculty, and staff. It is provided for home or consumer-grade devices such as game consoles, televisions, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and other similar Internet of Things (IoT).
Your connection will be cleared from the database nightly. You will have to repeat this process daily. Unless you register your device(s) in the MyDevices portal. You can register up to 10 Devices which will be held for up to 90 days since the last time it was on the network.
If you are storing, processing, or transmitting data that you wish to assure some level of privacy, or are having trouble connecting to ISU-OPEN (especially on mobile devices) use ISU-SECURE for your wireless network.
