Your University Account is Locked

Issue

  • Your account is locked or blocked and is preventing you from signing in where your University Account Credentials are needed.

Cause

  • There have been too many sign in attempts on your account and it has been locked for your security.

Resolution

Unlock your University Account

Call the Help Desk at 812-237-2910 or email at It-Help@indstate.edu in order to get your account unlocked.
 

Reset your Password

If you are trying to log in to one of your accounts and you are unsure of what your password might be. In an effort to avoid locking yourself out unnecessarily, you can alternatively change your password on the ISU portal login screen. (Changing your password after being locked out will not unlock your account itself).

To change your password, follow the instructions on the Forgotten Password page.

If you try to log in and it tells you that your ISU account has been locked. Please call or reach out to OIT with your university information. A tech will unlock your account for you.
