Will I still be able to call ISU staff and faculty if I am on campus and Teams is unavailable?
Calls to ISU faculty and staff will be unavailable if Microsoft Teams is unavailable. Many departments or areas have telephones provided through different telephone networks which will remain active for on-campus use. These phones use traditional telephone technology and do not rely on Microsoft technologies to function. Therefore, these phones can be used to call other non-Microsoft Teams phone numbers.

How do I make an emergency phone call if I am on campus and MS Teams is not working?
If you are unable to make an emergency (911) call, and Microsoft Teams is not working, you should use the closest emergency phone or your cell phone. It is recommended that you know where these phones are located and how to use them. If you have cellular service you can also use that to make an emergency call.
