Student Laptop Minimum Specifications

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum hardware and software standards needed for students planning to bring their own laptop to ensure that it meets their academic needs. 

Laptop Recommendations

 

ISU is a laptop university, and many instructors will expect you to have a laptop available during class. To support your academic success throughout your college years, we recommend the following minimum specifications when purchasing a new laptop:
