Introduction

Below is a list of approved computers and peripherals recommended and supported by OIT. When requesting a quote from OIT, you can choose from the following options for both standard and high-end uses. For special requests, please use the OIT Consultation Form to have a consultant reach out and review your use case. Please note that this article applies only to Academic Affairs purchases that fall outside the standard process, as well as to purchases made by non-Academic Affairs.

Standard Desktops

Faculty and staff can choose from three standard desktop models designed to support a wide range of professional and academic tasks. All devices are equipped with 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB drive. These desktops offer reliable performance in compact or expandable form factors, making them ideal for office-based work, research, and creative projects. If a  desktop is selected for primary use, please keep in mind that university policy permits only one primary computing device per employee. A secondary device for mobility will not be provided.
