Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or Adobe Sign

Description

At Indiana State University, there are several Adobe software packages available to Faculty and Staff for work purposes.  Below is a brief description of each to help you decide which software will fulfill your needs.

Adobe Acrobat Pro allows a user to create, convert, edit, share and sign PDF’s.  Once granted a license, the faculty or staff member may use the software on both university and home devices, but may only be logged into the software on one device at a time. 

Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a collection of software applications used for graphic design, video editing, web development and photography.  Among applications included in this Suite are Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Animate.  Once granted a license, the faculty or staff member may use the software on both university and home devices, but may only be logged into the software on one device at a time.

Adobe Sign is a cloud-based service that lets an individual or organization send, secure, track and manage e-signature processes. The service is meant to replace physical paper and ink signatures with a fully automated, electronic alternative. Adobe Sign is an evolution of the previously known EchoSign platform.

FOR STUDENTS:

University license of Adobe Create Cloud prohibits us from installing on non-ISU own devices.  Please see link below for options for students:

FOR STUDENT EMPLOYEES:

If you work for a department on campus and need to use Adobe Create Cloud on an ISU owned machine, have your supervisor (must be a full time employee) submit the request.  You will not be able to use it on your own device.

Constraints/Scope

1. Only ISU Faculty and Staff can request and be granted licensing of ISU owned software.
2. Neither Adobe Creative Cloud, Acrobat or Sign requires additional purchasing or funding from your department.
3. If you require the software, submit a Software Installation - ISU Owned Machines service request.  Indicate on the form which software you are requesting.
