How to Import and Export Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries

Introduction

You can export libraries and import them as new libraries, retaining linkage of elements from the original. The export and import of libraries enable you to recreate them under a different username.

Steps

Steps to export a Library:

You can transfer an entire library from the Libraries panel of your Creative Cloud apps to your local device. Then, you can either archive it, or import it to a different account.

1. Open the Libraries panel inside any Creative Cloud app.

2. Select the library that you want to export.

3. Click the More options menu  in the upper-right corner of the Libraries panel.

4. Select Export <Library name>.

5. Click Select folder, choose a location, and then save your library.

6. Click Export. A copy of your library is now available in your local device.

Once done, you can archive your library or import it to another account.

 

Import Creative Cloud Libraries

You can import an existing library that is saved on your device to your Creative Cloud account. 

1. Open the Libraries panel inside any Creative Cloud app.
 

2. Click the More options menu  in the upper-right corner of the Libraries panel.

3. Select Import Library.

4. Click Select Library, and select the.cclibs file that you want to import to the other Creative Cloud account.

5. Click Import

Click Import
 

Your library is available in your other Creative Cloud account.
