Telephone/Unified Communications – Request Service or Modification

Description

Campus telephone services combined with Unified Communications tools provide features such as instant messaging, voicemail, telephone calls, multimedia conferencing. These tools allow for fluid communication workflows to reduce the amount of time that is spent handling communications.  This service is best used with a headset.  The associated form allows you to request moves, adds, or changes as well as headsets.

SLA:  you can expect service fulfillment within 5 business days.

Constraints/Scope

  • All University faculty and staff, who have an email account, have access to Skype for Business Instant Messaging and presence functionality.
  • Other non-user phones may be provided using alternative technologies such as analog telephones.
  • Conferencing will require a UC device at a minimum and video conferencing will require a webcam.

These devices provide the interface to our telephony systems and incur costs based on the devices desired.
