Explanation of ISU Provisioning Roles

Employee Affiliate BAFF Business Affiliate Individuals who have a business relationship with the University, but are not employees. 
Employee Affiliate EAFF Educational Affiliate Individuals who have an affiliate relationship with the University, but are not employees or faculty.
Employee Faculty CFAC Current Faculty Individuals employed by the University primarily to teach courses.  Does not include Teaching Assistants.
Employee Staff CEMP Current Employee Individuals employed by the University in a bi-weekly or monthly paid position.  Does not include faculty or student employees.
Employee Staff SEMP Student Employee Individuals who are current students and also employed by the University in the specific 'student employee' job type.
         
Student Student  ASTU Admitted Student A student who has been admitted to the University, but has not taken or registered for classes.
Student Student FSTU Future Student A student who is not enrolled in the current semester but is enrolled in a future semester, up to 3 terms out.
Student Student  CSTU Current Student A student who is currently enrolled in at least one course for the current semester.
Student Student PSTU Previous Student A student who is not currently enrolled as a student, but has been enrolled within the past year. Also includes students with an incomplete grade in the past three years.
         
Sycamores Limited ALUM Alumni A student who was awarded a degree from ISU.
Sycamores Limited REMP Retired Employee Former employees of the University who have officially retired through HR.
Sycamores Limited RFAC Retired Faculty Former faculty of the University who have officially retired through HR.
Sycamores LImited XEMP Former Employee Individuals who are former employees with a last work date within the last two years. (Not Retired)
Sycamores Limited XSTU Former Student Individuals who have been enrolled as a student within the last three years, but not within the last one year. Also, students who have had an account balance > $0 within the last two years.
         
         
         
    KNOW Knowledge Worker Current employees or faculty who have a need for computer software. - This is an additive role to existing Employee Roles
