Introduction
The new MyISU Portal is used by faculty, staff, and students to access a number of applications and functions based on their roles at Indiana State University. MyISU Portal is accessed using standard Microsoft University Credentials, just like your Outlook Email (university email account and university password). When a person signs into the portal, their identity is verified and various roles are assigned to to the user. Those roles determine the type of information that you see - and the applications that you can access.

Improved Security
Our move to the MyISU Portal has coincided with a unification of our various authentication services. By consolidating these authentication services into one standard platform, we are able to provide consistent, robust, and secure access to all applications within the university. In addition, we can protect access to those applications by implementing additional security features like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - which provides a layer of security against hackers and Phishing Scams. It also allows us to provide multiple options for safe and secure password recovery.
Modern Interface with Role Based Access to University Applications
The MyISU Portal has been developed in coordination with ISU Marketing, so that we provide a clean, well branded application to our fellow Sycamores. Additionally, the new portal has been developed and tested with Accessibility Requirements in mind.
Role Based Communication Options
Targeted Role Based Communication through Email and Portal Announcements are possible through the new MyISU Portal. This communication pathway is essential for the student and the university to stay engaged and up-to-date with things going on around campus.
Mobile Application
The MyISU Mobile Application is available on both the Android Play Store and Apple iTunes. Simply login to your phone's Apps Download site - and search for: MyISU
The installation and setup is straight forward and you should be up and running in a matter of minutes.
The mobile application provides a very clean and easy-to-read platform that provides access to all mobile-friendly applications at the university. Changes to the Engage Portal are automatically reflected in the MyISU Mobile Application. In addition, the MyISU App allows for direct messaging to targeted groups if necessary.
