IT Business Analysis

Description

The IT Business Analysis service is offered to the campus to support modernization of business practices. Targeted training, broad topic seminars, process analysis and improvement, digitization and automation will be available for individuals and groups who wish to increase their efficiency and reduce workload.

Standard Features

Process analysis and improvement – Document and track specific business processes within a department to improve overall efficiency and look for opportunities to apply digitization and automation technologies to further that goal. 

Digitization – Attempting to eliminate or reduce reliance on physical information tools such as documents and forms in favor of digital tools.  The digital tools are easier to use and manage and integrate well across information systems to allow better and faster data sharing. 

Automation – Leveraging digital tools to reduce or eliminate repetitive data handling actions.  This can improve throughput or reduce the need for human involvement in repetitive tasks freeing them up for more creative problem solving.

SLA:  You can expect to have a response to this request within 3 business days.   

Scope/Constraints

This service is available to faculty and staff.

The time for project evaluation, prioritization, analysis and implementation will depend on the complexity and scope of the project and will be determined through further information gathering.
