Description
Request to arrange for A/V (audio/video) equipment or portable laptop carts. Equipment may be checked out, or in certain circumstances setup by student technicians.
Equipment is for academic or university-affiliated use only and not to be used by DJ's or DJ type setups.
Standard Service Features
Standard equipment setups listed below and may be modified depending on event or requests. Response to resolve within 5 business days (dependent in relation to date and length of event or checkout).
- Portable Sound System
- Two speakers
- Microphone
- Mixer/amplifier
- Audio cable for laptop or smartphone (e.g., 3.5 mm (1/8") connector)
- Portable Projection System
- 5‘ or 7’ tripod projection screen (front projection)
- Projector
- Cables for external source (e.g., laptop) connection (e.g., VGA, HDMI, USB-C)
- Laptop Cart (On-campus delivery only)
- 25-30 laptops
- Laptops should come pre-charged (users are responsible for recharging if used for extended periods)
- Must be secured and kept in locked room when not in use
- Available for on-campus delivery and use only

Scope/Constraints
- Scope: Current Indiana State University Faculty and Staff
- Setups are limited to on-campus events only*
- Must include a 5 business day notice
- Equipment is not to be used by DJ's or DJ type setups
- Only current faculty or staff can make a request to checkout equipment
- Requires valid ISU ID labeled as "Staff" or "Faculty"
- Students or Student Organizations must have a faculty or staff sponsor
- Cost of Checkout
- No charge for Faculty/Staff, Student Organization, or University sponsored events
* Exceptions may be made for official ISU-sponsored off-campus events under special circumstances and require prior approval.
