Event: Audio/Video Equipment or Laptop Cart Checkout Request

Description

Request to arrange for Audio/Video (A/V) equipment and portable laptop carts. Equipment may be checked out, or in certain circumstances (such as for some department functions running an official ISU event) setup.

Standard Service Features

  • Small, portable sound systems with
    • 2 speakers
    • Laptop/smartphone connection (e.g. 1/8th inch speaker cable)
    • microphone
    • mixer/amplifier

  • Small, portable projection system
    • 5‘ or 7’ portable tripod screen (front projection)
    • projector
    • required cables for VGA or HDMI connection

  • Laptop Cart (25-30 laptops - On campus delivery only)
    • Laptops should come charged, but if needed for extended periods, users should ensure they are charged between use.
    • Users are responsible for securing laptops in a locked room while not in use.
    • Only available on ISU campus.

SLA: You can expect this service to be completed in 5 business days.

Constraints/Scope

  • Setups are limited to on ISU campus and must include a 5 business day notice.

  • Equipment is not to be used by DJs or DJ type setups.

  • Only Faculty/Staff can make a request to checkout equipment.
    • Requires valid ISU ID labeled as "Staff" or "Faculty"
    • Students/Student organizations must have a Faculty/Staff sponsor.

  • Cost of Checkout
    • No charge for Faculty/Staff sponsored, Student sponsored, or University sponsored events.

  • Room the equipment will be used in.
  • Requested date for the equipment.
  • Return date for the equipment.
  • Purpose of the event.
  • Persons who may check the equipment in and out.
  • Whether it is a officially sanctioned ISU Event.
  • Whether attendees to the event are being charged.
