How to Access a Course Accessibility Report in Canvas

Introduction

Ally is a platform that integrates seamlessly into Canvas and focuses on making digital course content more accessible. This article will help faculty access their course Accessibility Report which will display as a link in the course navigation. Note: Although the Accessibility Report needs to be added to the visible course navigation links, it will only be visible to instructors, NOT to the students. 

Steps

  1. Access your Canvas course settings. 

 

  1. Click the Navigation tab.

  1. Drag and Drop the Accessibility Report link from the Hidden from Students section (near the bottom of the screen) into the Reorder the Course Navigation section at the top: 

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Save: 

Note: The Accessibility Report link will NOT be visible to students
