TeamDynamix Release 12.0 - New User Experience

Introduction

On July 19th, 2025 (Midnight - 4AM), the technician view of TeamDynamix (TDNext) will be updated to a more modern interface in order to reduce pop-ups and allow for more interactive dashboards (formerly known as desktops). While most items and interactions will be familiar, there are enough differences that we recommend reviewing the training and previewing the new interface in our TeamDynamix Preview environment.

The client portals of TeamDynamix will be minimally impacted (related to dashboards) and few, if any, will notice any differences.

Training

There are a couple of training options available in preparation of the new interface. We recommend watching the TeamDynamix 12.0 Preview Video for a demonstration, but you can also view the attached TeamDynamix 12.0 Quick Start Guide PDF.

Watch the TeamDynamix 12.0 Preview videos highlighting changes to the TDNext interface.

  • Side Panel View
  • Tab View
  • Navigation Changes to Ticketing and Project Apps
  • Dashboards (Formerly Desktops)
    • New Editor
    • Dynamic Widgets

Note: I've set the video to start at 8:57 to get straight to the new UX content.

TeamDynamix 12.0 Preview Environment

After (or during) reviewing the new training material, you are welcome to try out the new interface in our TeamDynamix Preview Environment. The Preview Environment is a copy of our production environment from January with the interface upgraded and changes/testing will not persist past our upgrade window.

Note: Since this is a snapshot of our environment from January, you may have some staff who have been hired since then that are not in the system. If that is the case and they need to checkout the preview environment, send me a TeamDynamix - Account Request explicitly asking for access to the preview environment.

Additional Information

If you have not used TeamDynamix much and are interested in more generalized training, TeamDynamix has an e-learning site with video guides on general functions of the platform. Included are videos covering the new user experience as well as the current (legacy) interface.

Additionally, if you have any questions about the upcoming change, feel free to contact Chris Middleton.
