Zoom - Request a Large Meeting or Webinar

Description

Students, Faculty, and Staff have standard ISU zoom accounts that will allow conferencing with up to 300 participants. For sessions larger than 300 participants, Zoom requires additional licensing. Those licenses are split between Meetings and Webinars. Refer to the following definitions before making a request for an additional license.

License Types

Meetings: Meetings are designed to be a collaborative event with all participants being able to screen share, turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance.

Webinars: Webinars are designed so that the host and any designated panelists can share their video, audio and screen. Webinars allow view-only attendees. They have the ability to interact via Q&A, chat, and answering polling questions. The host can also unmute the attendees. Attendees in webinars, can not rename themselves as well.

Directions

Click "Request a License" to start a request.

Note: In the request, you will be asked to detail the start and end of your event. This is to help ensure availability of our larger participant meeting licenses to as many as we can serve.

If your role is that of a Student, you must be Graduate Student and must have a Faculty or Staff requesting the license on your behalf. The requester is the “Sponsor”.
