How to Download Zoom Cloud Recordings

Introduction

This article will assist faculty and staff in downloading Zoom cloud recordings to their local computer or OneDrive account. ISU's contract with Zoom ends on June 1, 2026. Any Zoom cloud recordings anyone wishes to retain need to be downloaded to their local computer or OneDrive account. 

Steps

  1. Log in to Zoom at https://indstate-edu.zoom.us.
  2. Select Sign In.
  3. If prompted, enter your University email and password.
  4. Once logged in, select Recordings & Transcripts from the left side menu.
  5. In the Cloud recordings tab, go the recording you would like to download, and click the three dots (hovering over the three dots menu, this will say More).
  6. From the dropdown menu, select Download (2 files).
  7. Click the blue Download button to download both of the files to your computer or OneDrive account.

Additional Information

Zoom cloud recordings are retained for 180 days. ISU's Zoom access ends on June 1, 2026
