Introduction
Respondus 4.0 is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams offline that can be later printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard and Canvas.
Starting January 01, 2021, instructors should install Respondus 4.0 from Software Center on their WIndows machines.

Steps to Install Respondus 4.0
1. On your Windows machine, in the "Type here to search" box at the lower left corner, type in "software center".
2. When "Software Center App" pops up, click on it.
3. Once the Software Center opens, locate Respondus 4.0.8 logo and click on it.
4. Click on the "Install" button to start installation. Make sure you save the license information as you'll need it later.
5. When installation completes, upon first-time launch of Respondus 4.0, you'll be prompted to enter the license information.
6. The installation password will be valid for only one year, and expired at the end of each July.
When you are prompted for the new license key, repeat steps 1,2 and 3 to access the new license information.
