Body

Introduction

Wireless access to the campus ISU-Secure network is now available in Parking Lots M and Q.  Both lots are accessible from Eighth Street North.

Where to connect

1. You may connect to the ISU-Secure network from inside your car.

2. Bring your laptop or other mobile devices to the southeast corner of Parking Lot M or the southwest corner of parking lot M.  These parking lots are on either side of Eighth Street North.  They are both located south of the Heating Plant.

3.  Park as close as you can to the southeast corner of Parking Lot M or the southwest corner of Parking Lot Q.   In both cases, you will be relatively close to a one-story red-brick utility building.  The signal is strongest in the area of this building.

How to connect

When you are parked in the correct location in Parking Lot M or Q, the ISU-Secure network ID will appear as a choice in your network settings, and you may connect to the network as you typically do when you are on campus.
