Minitab is a software product that helps you to analyze the data. This is designed essentially for the Six Sigma professionals. It provides a simple, effective way to input the statistical data, manipulate that data, identify trends and patterns, and then extrapolate answers to the current issues.
Standard Features
- Faculty should use this service to request access for an entire class by uploading the Banner generated course enrollment spreadsheet or attached "SPSS Class Roster Request" spreadsheet. Rosters need to include the class name and section number, student names and either Portal ID or Email addresses. SPSS/Minitab class accounts will be provided via Azure Virtual Desktop.
- Please provide rosters via a method where students can be copied and pasted into the system. This would include Excel or Word formats. Providing images/screen shots of rosters may result in processing delays. If the roster provided does not allow copy/paste, students must be looked up and added manually.
- Rosters of students needing access must be submitted every semester. Student access will be removed immediately after the final grading deadline has passed. If a student needs access beyond the final grading deadline, a request will need to be re-submitted.
- Faculty can also use this service to request access to SPSS with a local Mac installation.
Note: Faculty wishing to have a local installation on their primary Windows computer can install SPSS/Minitab directly from Software Center. Minitab is not available for Mac installations.

- Only Faculty can request access to SPSS/Minitab
- All instances of SPSS/Minitab must be used for Academic Purposes Only as required by our SPSS licensing.
