Multimedia Conferencing – Enable Conferencing


Audio/Video Conferencing allows users to create conferences that contain both a web and phone dial-in capabilities.  These capabilities allow for almost anybody to be able to join a conference.  SfB conferences utilize Microsoft Outlook to set up the meeting calendar appointment, inserting the information for attendees to be able to join the conference either on the web, using SfB desktop client, or via phone.

Within the conference, users will be able to share their desktop, collaborate with a whiteboard, and share documents or presentations.

  • Create conferences from Microsoft Outlook
  • Share content from workstations
  • Traditional telephone bridge number

SLA:  you can expect service fulfillment within 5 business days.


  • All requests must be made by university faculty or staff
  • To use the audio or video functionality from a computer, the appropriate devices should be used.  The devices include a USB headset or speakerphone and optionally, a webcam.
  • Conferences are currently limited to 15 attendees
