Introduction
There are two ways to create a stable, on-demand Microsoft Teams meeting link that you can share in email or other communications:
- Create a meeting link with the Meet Now function in Teams.
- Create a scheduled recurring meeting with no end date with Outlook Calendar.
- Note: Microsoft recommends scheduled recurring meeting links for reusable links.
Meet Now
Note: Using the Meet Now function will create a persistent link that will not appear on your Outlook calendar.
- Open Microsoft Teams
- Select Calendar from the left navigation.

- Click Meet Now at the top right.

- Add a meeting name and Click Get a Link to Share

- Click Copy meeting link to your clipboard or save somewhere else to access later.

- Start and End meetings as needed. (Note: Microsoft states that Meet Now links are only guaranteed for 8 hours, however, Meet Now links have tested to be persistent.)
Outlook Calendar- Recurring Teams Meeting with No End Date
- Go to Outlook and click Calendar

- Click Teams Meeting and select Schedule Meeting from the dropdown menu.

- Add a title to the meeting, Set the date and time, and click Make Recurring

- Select the meeting time, set the Recurrence pattern, set the start date, and Click No End Date, then Click OK

- Click Send (which acts as Save and will add the meeting to your Calendar)

- You can copy and share the meeting link by clicking on the meeting in Outlook calendar, select Copy join link, and share the link through email, chat, or other communications.

- Start and End meetings as needed. (Note: Microsoft states that recurring meeting links will expire 60 days after the last occurrence of a recurring meeting.)
