The MyISU Experience Mobile App brings the tools, services, and information you rely on every day directly to your mobile device—making it easier than ever to stay connected with Indiana State University. Whether you're checking your course schedule, accessing campus resources, viewing important announcements, or managing your academic life on the go, the MyISU Experience app puts everything in one convenient place.
This guide will walk you through the simple steps to download and install the app, ensuring you can access your personalized MyISU dashboard anytime, anywhere. Let’s get you set up so you can make the most of your ISU Experience.
Installation Steps
Follow the steps below in order to install the MyISU Experience Mobile Application on your Android or Apple device. The steps outlined are for both Android and Apple; device specific notes will be outlined below any step that requires device specific considerations.
QR Code Installation Steps
Below is a table containing QR Codes for both Android and Apple Devices. For quick installation, please follow the instructions below the table.
Step 1: Open your camera on your device
Step 2: Scan the QR Code by centering the QR Code that corresponds with your device in the middle of the screen
Step 3: If needed, click on the QR Code to focus the image
Step 4: Click on the link that opens when your camera has registered the QR Code
Continue with Step 3 in the Manual Installation steps below after finishing with the steps provided above for QR Code Installation.
Manual Installation Steps
In the case that you are not able to scan the QR Codes above for quick installation, please follow the manual installation steps below in order to install the MyISU Experience Mobile Application on your mobile device.
Step 1: Open your device's app store
Android - for android devices, open the Google Play Store from your App list
Apple - for apple devices, open the Apple App Store from the home screen
Step 2: Search for "MyISU Experience"
Step 3: Download the App
Android - for android devices, click "Install" on the application page and the download will begin automatically; wait until the button says "Open"
Apple - for apple devices, click "Get" and the download will begin automatically (some iOS devices will require authentication even for free apps); wait until the button says "Open"
Step 4: Launch the Application
Wait until the "Install"/"Get" button reads "Open" then click "Open" or locate the application in your devices App List and launch the application by clicking on the App Icon

Step 5: Sign-In to the Application (using your ISU Credentials)
- Enter your ISU Username and Password
- When prompted, complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Select "Stay Signed In" to avoid having to sign-in multiple times throughout a session
Step 6: Enable Notifications (Recommended)
When prompted, allow the app to send push notifications to your device; this ensures timely updates for class changes, campus alerts, or new announcements
Step 7: Explore Your Dashboard
After logging in, you will have access to the following and more:
- Course Schedule
- Notifications & Announcements
- Important Resources and Services
- Quick links to campus tools
- Customized cards based on your role (student, faculty, staff)
Step 8: Pin or Rearrange Your Tiles (Optional)
Step 9: Log Out When Finished (Recommended)
