How To Move Zoom Recordings to YuJa

Download Recording

Canvas LTI Method

  1. Once you have finished recording your Zoom session, go to the Zoom LTI link in your Canvas course.
  2. Select the Cloud Recordings tab at the far right.
  3. This should then display all of your recordings. At the three-dots menu at the far right, select 2 Files (*File Size*).
  4. A Download Recording Files window displays. Click the Download option.
  5. The file should download to your computer.

Web Method

  1. Once you have finished recording your session, navigate to Zoom at https://indstate-edu.zoom.us.
  2. Select Sign In.
  3. If prompted, enter your university email and password.
  4. Once logged in, select Recordings from the left side menu.
  5. Next to the recording you would like to download, you should see a More button. From the dropdown menu, select Download.
  6. This will download both of the files to your computer.

Upload Recording

Uploading to YuJa

  1. Once you have the files on your computer, open YuJa through your Canvas course.
  2. Select My Media from the left side menu to ensure you are in the right location.
  3. Select Upload from the center navigation bar.
  4. Under the video tab, select Browse. This is where you will select the MP4 video downloaded from Zoom.
  5. Click Start Upload

Uploading Local Recording

  1. Open YuJa through your Canvas course.
  2. Select Manage Media.
  3. You should see an option at the top that says Upload.
  4. Next, ensure that Video is highlighted and select Browse.
  5. You will then look for the video that you have downloaded on your computer and click Open.
  6. Click Start Upload.
