How To Give Students Publishing Rights to a Course Channel in YuJa

Introduction

Students may publish videos to a class with instructor review or freely to a course channel in Yuja.

Steps

1. Go to YuJa from your Canvas course.

2. Click the Main Menu icon in YuJa

3. Select Courses & Groups

4. Select the appropriate Course or course sub-folder

5. Select Edit

6. By default, Not Allowed is selected, you can change this to Allowed or Submit for approval.

- Not Allowed – Only instructors can publish to the Course Channel in YuJa

- Sumbit for approval – Students can Publish to the Course Channel, but only instructors can see the videos

- Allowed – Students can Publish to the Course Channel and their videos can be see by instructors and other students.

7. Save your changes
